The cartridge with ARC chip

The chip frame and ink tank is separate, no need to worry on the chip problems any more like regular products because the chip frame is already reusable, what you need to do is just replace the ink tank and a press on the chip reset button to reset the chip.

Canon new type ink supplying system

The chip frame is installed innitialy in the printer and then it will stay in for permanent use. When ink is empty, what you need to do is just replacing the ink tank. At the time when you take out the empty ink tank, the chip frame will bounce up accordinlgy, this function is to reset the chip.
